Don Worley executive produces Christmas at the Kringles, a genre-bending holiday comedy starring Ron Livingston and Rachel Bilson, set for a wide theatrical release next month through Briarcliff Entertainment.
The Film and Its Cast
Directed by Kevin Lewis from a screenplay by Zack Imbrogno, Christmas at the Kringles features an ensemble cast led by Livingston, Bilson, Rob Riggle, Thomas Lennon, Arden Myrin, Donald Faison, Beverly D’Angelo, David Wain, Alexis Kemp, and Zeke Jones.
The story follows the Severson family as they move into a suburban neighborhood and discover their new neighbors, the Kringles, celebrate Christmas all year long. What initially appears to be an eccentric but cheerful obsession becomes increasingly unsettling as Mark and Julie Severson begin questioning the Kringles’ influence over their family, ultimately uncovering something far more sinister beneath the holiday decorations.
Worley serves as an Executive Producer on the film and also steps in front of the camera in the role of Anton, continuing the dual actor-producer career that has become an increasingly important part of his work in Hollywood.
Worley’s Expanding Slate
“Christmas at the Kringles is exactly the kind of project I enjoy being involved with because it takes something audiences immediately recognize and turns it into something they don’t expect,” said Worley. “It has comedy, action, great characters and a very different spin on the traditional Christmas movie. Having Briarcliff behind the theatrical release gives us the opportunity to bring that experience to audiences on a large scale.”

For Worley, the film is part of a rapidly expanding slate of projects that reflects his growing involvement in both the creative and business sides of filmmaking.
Through Second Chance Pictures, Worley has continued to build a portfolio spanning independent films, theatrical features, international productions and the emerging vertical entertainment market. Rather than limiting himself to financing or producing, Worley has increasingly pursued projects that allow him to participate both as a producer and as a working actor.
From Law to Hollywood
His recent and upcoming work includes projects such as Neil Burger’s Barracuda, starring Anthony Mackie and Dafne Keen; The Mystery of the Golden Spear, starring Mischa Barton; The Tempering; Tara Reid’s Murder Mystery Party; Tommy Karate; Tangled Up in Blue; and his award-winning independent thriller A Time for Sunset.
The expanding slate represents a new chapter in a career that has taken an unconventional route to Hollywood.
Worley began acting when he was younger, appearing in projects including D.O.A. before building a successful career as an attorney and entrepreneur. Years later, he returned to entertainment with the resources and experience to develop, finance and produce projects while simultaneously rebuilding his career in front of the camera.

That combination has increasingly defined Worley’s approach to the industry: finding projects he believes in, helping move them toward production and distribution, and continuing to challenge himself as a performer.
Release Plans
The domestic acquisition by Briarcliff Entertainment marks an important milestone for the project. Led by veteran distributor Tom Ortenberg, Briarcliff is positioning the film for a nationwide theatrical rollout heading into the 2026 holiday season.
“Producing gives me the opportunity to help make movies happen, while acting is where I get to completely step inside the creative process,” Worley said. “I love both sides of filmmaking, and I’m fortunate that I’m now getting opportunities to work with filmmakers and actors I’ve respected for years.”
With Christmas at the Kringles securing a wide theatrical release, Worley adds another significant project to a growing production slate and continues the expansion of Second Chance Pictures across multiple formats and genres.
The film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide October 30, 2026, through Briarcliff Entertainment.
